So I am back with a new list of 2016 Korean dramas for you to go six years back in time and explore the 2016 era of Korean dramas.

1. Goblin: The Great and Lonely God

This is one of the best dramas in the Korean drama industry. It depicts the story of a goblin, Kim Shin, and a high schooler, Ji Eun Takk. Kim Shim saves Ji Eun Tak and her mother, unaware that Ji Eun Tak will become her bride, freeing him from a cursed sword stuck in his chest.
However, death and love play an important role in this whole drama. This drama also hits the top 10 world-famous Korean dramas. It contains a wide range of emotions, including friendship, bromance, romance, and comedy. I would like to give this drama a 10 out of 10.

2. Uncontrollably Fond

This drama tells us the story of a young, rich, and arrogant film star, Shin Joon Young, and her high school crush, Noh Eul, who rejects him in school due to circumstances she faces as her father dies.
As time passes, Joon Young decides to become an actor rather than a prosecutor, which causes her mother to cut off her relationship with Joon Young, and Noh Eul becomes a poor free-lance producer.
They both meet again and fall in love, but Shin Joon Young gets word that he has cancer and he refuses to get any treatment. Due to this, in the end, he dies.

3. Descendent of the Sun

This drama depicts the story of an ordinary soldier, Yoo Shi Jin, who falls in love with a surgeon, Kang Mo Yeon, who is very beautiful and expert in her work. Shi Jin is a very brave soldier who works in special task forces.
Both get separated because of their jobs, but later both reunite in Uruk as Mo Yeon gets a transfer to Uruk as a punishment for turning the hospital director’s proposal down. Both work hard and face many hardships for survival and peace in a war-torn country
4. Strong Girl Bong-Soon

In this drama, a girl named Do Bong Soon is born with special powers, i.e., she has extraordinary strength and can even lift a man. On the other hand, Ahn Min Hyuk is a young, sensitive CEO of a gaming company. He hires Bong Soon as his bodyguard.
He falls in love with her and they both experience a love triangle. This drama is overall rated as a 9 out of 10. We will see many emotions, like jealousy, romance, and comedy.

5. Moon Lovers :Scarlet Heart Ryeo

It is a South Korean television series based on a Chinese novel. In this, on an eclipse, a 21st-century woman gets teleported to the Goryeo Dynasty Era in the body of a 16-year-old girl.
As a 21st-century girl, she feels a great generation gap there because of modernism, but she also experiences many new emotions like: rivalry, romance, fight for the throne of the king, friendship, and also a love pentagon (when 4 people fall in love with the same person).
