This drama is really one of the biggest gems of 2021.Set in 1980s during the Gwangju Uprising, Youth of May tells the love story of a medical student Hwang Hee Tae and a nurse Kim Myung Hee.
It shows a sweet old-school romance between both of them.Hee-Tae is a medical student, who entered medical school at the top his class. Myung-Hee has worked as a nurse for the past 3 years. She is a lovely person, who stands up against what is not fair.

As a kdrama lover, you all have watched it but whoever has not, they are missing the gem. Korean melodramatic adaptation of Chinese drama Startling by Each Step (2011). A story of a 25-year-old Go Ha-jin who is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty.
She then wakes up in the body of Lady Hae-soo and finds herself amongst the ruling princes of the Wang Family. There, she falls in love with Wang So (Lee Joon-Gi) who makes other people tremble with fear.

8. Angel’s last mission love (2019)

9. Mr Sunshine (2018)
The series had me cry the most and remember every scene even after so much time had passed. It’s worth watching. During the United States expedition to Joseon (South Korea) in 1871, a boy from Joseon boarded an American warship and goes to America. As an adult, he returns to his home country as an American soldier stationed in the country.
He meets and falls in love with an aristocrat’s daughter. She was a hidden member of a moment against Japanese colonization. The elements of the story were fictitious but most of the scenes were still based on true history, the addition of fictional characters showing the different lives of people during that era. So, you could learn a lot about their history and culture. After watching all of the episodes, which are a bit long, you’ll realize that every episode is worth watching.

10. The smile has left your eyes (2018)
Try watching this worthy series. It is a remake of the Japanese TV series “Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi. The story follows the fateful romance of a mysterious man Kim Moo Young suspected of murder and a woman Yoo Jin Kang whose life completely changed after meeting him.
This kdrama is not all love, smiles, and happiness, it has heavy scenes that can get you emotionally invested.
