Lee Min-ho was born on Monday, June 22, 1987, which makes him 36 years old as of 2023. He was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Lee Min-ho’s zodiac sign is Cancer.

Early Career

During his school days, Lee Min-ho started receiving numerous offers for street casting. It was during this time that he ventured into the entertainment industry as a model for a magazine. One fateful encounter occurred when he mistakenly crossed paths with the president of his agency, which led to his official entry into the acting world. Subsequently, after enrolling at Konkuk University, Lee Min-ho began auditioning diligently to pursue his acting career.

Korean Dramas

In 2003, Lee Min-ho made his debut in the KBS2 drama “Sharp” as Lee Jin-ho, a student at an art academy. The series primarily focused on the life and romantic experiences of a female high school student.

Following his debut, Lee Min-ho took on minor roles in the MBC K-dramas “Nonstop 5” (2005) as MC Mong and “Recipe of Love” (2005) as a waiter. In 2006, he landed his first significant supporting role as Park Du-hyun in the EBS youth drama “Secret Campus.” His character, Park Du-hyun, was a thoughtful and caring individual who risked expulsion from the school soccer team.

After completing his mandatory military service, Lee Min-ho made his television comeback with the K-drama “The King: Eternal Monarch” in the role of Emperor Lee Gon. Military Service

Lee Min-ho was granted an exemption from mandatory military service due to injuries sustained in a car accident in 2006. The Military Manpower Administration publicly announced that although Min-ho would be exempt from military duty, he would instead serve in community service. He commenced his military service as a public service officer at the Suseo Social Welfare Centre in the Gangnam District Office on May 12, 2017.

On March 15, 2018, he underwent basic military training at the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
