A new teaser has been released for “Melancholia”.
Set in the prestigious and privileged environment of a private school, the upcoming drama will tell the story of Ji Yoon Soo (Im Soo Jung), who is passionate about helping students pursue their passions no matter how unpopular they may be.
Her character is determined to help young people like Seung Yoo (Lee Do Hyun) fight against stereotypes and social conventions that hold them back from achieving their potential.
The trailer opens with a scene at a school – Ji Eun Soo and Baek Seung Yoo working on math problems together. In this scene, Ji Eun Soo reassures him by saying, “I hoped you would lose yourself in your passion so much so that you wouldn’t have time to be worried about trivial things involving me.”
In return, Baek Seung Yoo calmly responds with a question of his own: “Falling or not falling for something – will it come as I wish?”
“Melancholia” will premiere on November 3rd at 10:30 pm. KST with English subtitles available on Viki.
