Netflix’s Upcoming Drama ‘D.P.’ season 2 Announced released Date with new poster

Season 2 of the critically acclaimed Netflix series ‘D.P.’ is set to return on July 28 KST, much to the delight of fans. The series tells the story of Junho (played by Jung Hae In) and Ho Yeol (played by Koo Gyo Hwan), who are part of a group of military deserters facing the harsh realities and absurdities of life. The show received praise for its unique plotline, exceptional acting performances, and its portrayal of the violent and absurd nature of military life.

Since its release in August 2021, ‘D.P.’ has garnered widespread critical acclaim. It was included in the New York Times’ top 10 best international TV shows of 2021 and received awards such as Best Picture at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards and the Best Picture Award at the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards. The launch poster for Season 2, released on June 20 KST, hints at the same sense of absurdity and tragedy that made Season 1 so memorable.

Season 2 continues with a familiar reality that remains unchanged despite the events of Season 1. Jung Hae In, returning as Ahn Junho, commented, “It is a work that continues from Season 1. There are still unresolved stories and parts that need resolution. Therefore, viewers can expect a more intricate and compelling narrative.”

Season 2 is the highly anticipated sequel that fans have been waiting for, and it promises to build on the success of its predecessor while delivering new surprises. Season 2 of ‘D.P.’ will premiere on July 28 KST.
