Watch: New Drama Trailer “Squid Game” Battle of Survival and Money

The upcoming series “Squid Game” has shared an intriguing sneak peek of its story on Netflix. “Squid Game,” which is set to premiere and air next month, a new drama is about a mysterious survival game with a reward of 45.6 billion won (approximately $40 million). Lee Jung Jae and Park Hae Soo will star as two childhood friends who end up joining the game—only to learn that there is more at stake than just the prize money.

Not even a trailer for the upcoming drama, Netflix has also revealed an unsettling poster that puts an ominous twist on the Korean game’s known as the “squid game.” In the trailer, in the game, faceless workers drag a bloody corpse towards a coffin and decorate it like a gift box. The poster’s caption teases, “45.6 billion [won], the childhood innocence of grown-ups will be destroyed.”

Meanwhile, the new teaser offers a chilling and thriller glimpse of the drama’s survival game. Losing the game means losing your life, and only the final survivor will get to leave with the winning prize of 45.6 billion won.

456 terrified competitors put their lives on the line in a brutal battle to survive. Viewers are left to wonder who could have organized this large game with life-or-death stakes. It’s named as such title because players are to draw different geometric shapes on the ground, which, as a whole, look like a squid.

“Squid Game” will be aired on September 17 on Netflix. Watch out for the new trailer on Youtube and the poster for the drama below!
