My Thoughts for “Abyss” – Korean Drama

 | Review: Abyss & 10 Reasons why to Watch

The series is full of mystery, romance, and suspense, as the two leads try to uncover the truth behind the Abyss and the secrets that it holds. It is a story of second chances, and how people can use them to make a difference in the world.

However, I wanted to have witnessed some chemistry between Min and Se Yeon before they changed appearances. It would have been more significant to observe their relationship before the shift. Their relationship needs to be acknowledged in several talks. Later, we get a few flashbacks, but those don’t reveal anything.

Fortunately, the reincarnated versions of Min and Se Yeon, Ahn Hyo Seop and Park Bo Young rapidly drew me into their love. They had a lot of fun together.

It was fascinating to observe how they adapted to their new forms and how this altered their connection. Min is no longer attracted to Se Yeon, but when he meets his friend, feelings automatically emerge for him.

Se Yeon now finds him appealing, but she must also allow her love for him to develop. And once the relationship continues, Min and Se Yeon form an attractive couple. They get along well as a group and are willing to go the extra mile for one another.

The drama’s pacing is strong, with fresh story twists appearing regularly. Other supporting characters play vital roles and add to the plot, which I loved.
