Review

Perfect propose is a cute little drama with just 6 episodes. As most of the bl jdramas here also one of the male lead is an office worker, named Watari (Kaneko shunya). He is exhausted by his everyday office life, his life is like a repeat cycle office – home -office- home. In such boring & soul crushing life, one day he collapsed in the middle of the road and met an unexpected unfamiliar face, but knowing his name made him familiarise the face, its Kai (Nomura kota).

Kai is entering unexpectedly to Watari’s life again and making Watari remember the promise kai made to him, that he is gonna marry Watari.

As the series progress, we see how exhaustion of Watari is changing to some beautiful moments, how his house suddenly changes to home with Kai being there for him, how does it feel to being waited by somebody rather than walking into an empty, lonely house. But now, he started seeing him home in his house. How love blossoms in their life and how they are going to be there for each other is something beautiful to watch.

The unspoken language between Kai and Kenji (Mr Kitami toshiyuki) is satisfying and touching.

This was a beautiful simple cute little drama which actually made my february SWEET.
