10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Shipping is a common part of the BL business world. It should never become a toxic intrusion into an artist’s personal life, but it’s nice to see one’s favourite on-screen couples take the spotlight together. So join us as we talk about some of our favourite ships.

As a writer, I think it’s important to tell the difference between how love is shown on screen and how it is in real life. I like to watch certain actors on screen together because it’s fun when two people have good chemistry and can understand each other. But I respect that just because they are a couple on screen doesn’t mean they have to be one in real life.

Note: The list contains my favourite ships.

1. Apo Nattawin and Mile Phakphum

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

The Thai drama KinnPorsche, which is currently airing, has shaken up the industry, and the couples are winning hearts. Apo and Mile, who play Kinn and Porsche, have brought them to life beautifully.

Their chemistry and acting skills make each episode a heart-stopping experience that stays with you long after it’s over.

2. Bible Wichapas and Build Jakapan

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Even though Bible and Build haven’t had any time together on-screen as a couple in KinnPorsche yet, their acting skills are already making people excited. They’re on this list because I liked how complicated Vegas and Pete’s story was in the book.

I’ve liked how Bible and Build have played these characters so far in the drama. I’m sure they’ll be able to show how complicated Vegas and Pete’s relationship is.

3. Billkin Putthipong and PP Krit

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Billkin and PP have a great way of connecting on-screen that can’t be denied. You can feel the tension and chemistry that builds up between them. In addition, they both have a natural way of acting that lets them slip into character.

This takes me out of reality and puts me in the fictional, heartbreaking world they’ve created in front of the camera.

4. Yin Anan and War Wanarat

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Even though Yin and War haven’t worked together on any long-term projects, the few short dramas they’ve led together have shown how skilled and connected they are.

They work well together and give off natural, memorable energy that makes people feel good. It makes me look forward to the rest of the Love Mechanics books coming out this year.

5. Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo are one of my favourite lead couples, but they have only been in one show together. Still, their roles as Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan in The Untamed were so epic that they caused a worldwide Untamed craze that has never stopped.

Even though I know the chances are slim, I would love to see them on screen together again.

6. Off Atthaphan and Gun Jumpol

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Off and Gun’s friendship outside of the show is a big reason they connect so well on the show. I’ve liked watching both of them on their own projects, but when they work together, it’s magic.

Their most recent lead roles in the Thai drama Not Me are their best so far. The care they put into the characters they played jumped off the screen and left the audience thinking. Not Me was more than just a play; it made people think about injustice and the need for equality.

7. Mix Sahaphap and Earth Pirapat

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

When Mix and Earth first appeared on screen together in Tale of a Thousand Stars, it was clear that they made each other stronger. Even though I had seen Earth in other BL projects, he stepped up his game in 1000 stars.

It shows what happens when two actors in a pair can work well together. Mix is very comfortable in front of the camera, and his acting skills helped Earth’s. Since then, I’ve been looking forward to anything they work on together.

8. Boun Noppanut and Prem Warut

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Since they played Win and Team in the Thai movie BL Until We Meet Again, I’ve been in love with Boun and Prem. The drama is very well done, but something about the story of Win and Team really caught my attention. I was struck by how safe the team felt in Win’s arms. And the people who played the parts couldn’t have been better.

Boun and Prem not only brought these two characters to life, but they have also made a heartwarming friendship outside of the show. I’m looking forward to seeing them as Win and Team again in the new Between Us series.

9. Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

As soon as Sang Woo and Jae Young faced off against each other in the Korean drama BL Semantic Error, it was clear that actors Seo Ham and Jae Chan were there to make magic. They did it.

The growing tension between their characters kept people on the edge of their seats until the very end, and it left a mark on their hearts. We hope that we’ll get to see these two actors back together in season 2.

10. Mew Suppasit & Gulf Kanawut

 | 10 Favorite BL Ships Of All Time

Mew and Gulf are the best examples of talking about chemistry. They were electrifying to watch on screen, and they were just as explosive in real life. When I saw Mew in a TV show, I fell in love with his personality. But when he was paired with Gulf, something was different, and in TharnType The Series, Mew became much more noticeable and better.

Not because of anything in particular, but history changed when he teamed up with Gulf. Mew was coming out of a bad time in his life, and Gulf helped him see the light again. Mew smiled again because of Gulf. They go well together, and I will definitely back them in whatever they do in the future.

Bonus

  1. Perth Tanapon & Saint Suppapong
  2. Zee Pruk & Saint Suppapong
  3. Gun Attaphan & Off Jumpol
  4. Nine Kornchid & Joong Archen
  5. Bas Suradej & Copter

These were some of my favourite ships, both classic and not. I’m happy for them, and I hope they stay together forever. But, remember that whether they are real or not, they are still people who can be hurt by harsh words. So, please act nicely.
